Registration Update
We are now ahead 69 people in registration, as of Tuesday, January 31, 2012, according to the County Board of Elections!
Website Update
We are currently working on the website to make it even more informative! The "GOP History" page will have some additional information on it soon that will make YOU proud to be a Republican!
In addition, we will be keeping the "2012 Candidates" page updated as the election cycle progresses. We are also reformatting a few things to make it easier to find information.
Headquarters Update
We will have a Headquarters location beginning March 1. We are in the process of securing it, but we will post the location on here as soon as we do!

January 28, 2012 Update
Registration Encouragement
Since early December, we have been mulling over the idea of a registration push, tapping into a target market. This target market is one whose common demographic trait is this thought:
"I know it's time to change parties, but I just have not done it yet."
Perhaps it will encourage the "almost ready to change parties" voter.
We are now ahead 56 people in registration, as of Wednesday, January 25, 2012, according to the County Board of Elections! We have also taken the Pilot Mountain #1 precinct, giving us the majority of 15 out of 29 precincts! WE ARE ON THE MOVE!

December 29, 2011 Update
Republicans Take Over
SURRY COUNTY GOES REPUBLICAN!!!!!!
As of yesterday (December 28), the Republicans in Surry County outnumbered the Democrats...by two people, according to the Surry County Board of Elections!
Not only did a full five-member Board of Commissioners who are all Republicans get elected (in 2010), but we have a majority in Surry County for the first time!
What a way to kick off the new year! The Presidential, Gubernatorial, Lieutenant Gubernatorial, and other offices await in 2012! Let's roll!
